| Hi there! My name is Lisa Kennedy, I live in Brunswick, Maine. What is my interest in Fire? Well..I
am not just some weirdo that likes to take pictures of other peoples tragedies.
I am a former fire victim....a wife of a firefighter, and a mother of a
firefighter! My husband Rick is a Brunswick Call Man, which makes him a paid
part-timer. Our son Dana was a Lieutenant for Brunswick Fire Call Dept, and has
since moved to Colorado to work at Croc shoes! Daughter Jayme helped the
Brunswick's Junior Fire Department by playing Sparky the Fire Dog while she was
in High School! She has since graduated, and is presently due to have our
first Grandchild in July! Another fire generation? One never knows
where this goes, but you can betcha the wee one already has a Firefighter Mickey
outfit!LOL I sure am proud of my family for what they choose to do, which is to help save lives and property. Who wouldn't be proud? Lots of folks ask how I survive this nerve wracking role I have with my Firefighting Family, and for the longest time I really couldn't answer that question honestly! Brunswick has a Full-time Fire Department, and feels they do not need an Auxillary, so I wasn't needed there, so...after much thought and consideration I decided to pursue a love that started in High School, my love of photography! Time {or lack of it} pretty much settled the decision of 35 mm or digital, so I am learning lots of new things as time goes on! Hope you like this site...and just so you know...never were any of these pictures posted or taken to take advantage of the tragedy these victims endured. As I said above, I, too, was a Fire victim, my apartment was totally gutted about
18 years ago. My roommate and I lost everything we owned, but we did not lose our lives, and that was our focus. I have been on the ''other side of the fire'', and would NEVER take advantage of another's pain. Anyway..enough babbling! Enjoy!
